Donncha Cody has for the last 4 years been employed as an auditor/trainer with FTA Ireland; to this role he brings 35 years experience gained in all aspects of domestic and international road freight operations.

Donncha  conducts  Driver CPC and Fleet Manager Compliance Awareness training; he has also been the lead promoter on VanSafe– the FTA Ireland response to members’ requests for advice on what is required to ensure compliance in relation to their van fleet.

Donncha will advise today on the responsibilities that are taken on when an organisation commits to operating a category N1, N2 or N3 vehicle (light vans, vans and trucks).

The mission of FTA Ireland is to help their members develop safer, more efficient and sustainable supply chains and transport operations.  Donncha’s primary role within FTA Ireland is to train, advise and support members to ensure compliance with the EU drivers hours’ regulations and the Working Time directive,  he is the lead trainer on the Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence course run by FTA Ireland.
