iCONX Solutions Ltd / Wizuda.com: Chairman of the Board. iCONX (iconxsolutions.com) provides interconnect billing and roaming services to global Telecoms companies on private cloud based SaaS services to global Telecoms companies. (SSAE16, ISO 22301, and ISO 27001 audited). Wizuda (Wizuda.com) provides GDPR compliant secure file share and file transfer management products to support the Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Qstream Ltd. Chairman of the Board. Qstream Ltd. is the Irish subsidiary of Qstream Inc., (Qstream.com) which provides mobile and adaptive sales training and management for very large sales forces in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, technology and financial services industries.

Consultancy Services:

Consultancy services at management and board level, through Knous Limited (Knous.ie), in areas of governance, funding, accounting and auditing, sales and sales management, management reporting, compliance, etc. Acted (2011-2012) as Project Leader on the ICANN IDN Variant TLD Program to enable top-level domain addressed in all international scripts.

Internet Pioneer:

NSFnet: Responsible for the decisions that developed NSFnet (1985/86), the US national research internet that evolved into the Internet, while working for the US National Science Foundation.  Led the research community participation and made the key decisions including: Building a general purpose internet rather than a dedicated supercomputer network; Adopting and insisting on the TCP/IP Internet protocol suite for NSFnet; Initiating the NSFnet backbone

Actively involved in the start-up and leadership of research networks in Ireland (HEAnet) and in the Europe (EARN, EBONE).

Domain Names: Responsible for the start-up and management of the .ie domain registry while at University College Dublin (UCD) (1992-99).  Chaired the Board and General Assembly of the Council for European Top level domain Registries (CENTR, CENTR.org (1999-01)) – and was actively involved in the start-up phase of ICANN.

IT Direction and Management:

Director of UCD Computing Services from 1977 to 1999. Brought the UCD IT infrastructure from the punched card era to a network of personal computers / servers and high-speed Internet connectivity.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Corporate Governance, Institute of Directors (London) (2013).

Fellow of the Irish Computer Society.

Ph.D. degree for research into sources of high-energy gamma radiation from pulsars (neutron stars) (1972), and a 1st Class honours Physics B.Sc. degree, from UCD (1967).

Ralph is a registered architect who previously worked at associate and project leader level, for one of Ireland’s largest commercial architectural practices, managing large scale mixed-use residential developments, commercial office, education and master planning projects. Ralph is an avid proponent of BIM (Building Information Modelling), with a keen interest in technology, innovation and efficient systems of managing projects. Ralph oversees the business development and design management aspects of the practice.

18 years as a health & safety professional in manufacturing, logistics, construction and civil engineering. I have worked in numerous European countries in a health & safety capacity. I’m Currently working as a health & safety consultant for the ESB as a PSDP advisor. I lecturer on a BSC diploma course, mainly on safety culture, occupational health and behavioural safety

Clive is a consultant with ISHEM with over 12 years’ practical experience. He has a City & Guilds qualification in Risk Assessment from the Water Management Society. Clive has been responsible for designing, managing and implementing Legionella control and water treatment programs for clients in Ireland and the UK. A key part of Clive’s role is providing training courses to regulatory bodies and international clients in the UK and Ireland as well as providing training for senior management and staff at HSE sites and healthcare facilities in Ireland

Kerry is a senior consultant with ISHEM with over 12 years’ experience and a BSc (Upper Second Class Honours) in Environmental Science. She has been the Project and Account Manager for several key clients including healthcare, education, aerospace, petrochemical, food and drinks sectors.

Kerry has a wealth of experience with regards to Legionella control having managed, advised and supported risk assessment projects in facilities across Ireland and the UK in accordance with the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) National Guidelines for the Control of Legionellosis in Ireland, 2009 and UK Health & Safety Executive’s Approved Code of Practice (HSE ACoPL8 (4th Ed)). In addition to risk assessment projects, Kerry has also carried out training, compliance auditing and investigations across Ireland, the UK, Central Europe and North America.

Mr. Martin O’Halloran has been the Authority’s Chief Executive since June 2007.  He also served on the Board of the Authority from 1992 to 1995.

He is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin from where he holds a M.Sc. in Statistics and Operations Research. He holds a B.Sc (hons) Applied Physics, Mathematics from the University of London and is a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health 1990 (Masters Programme) from the Robens Institute, University of Surrey.

He has represented Irish employers on the EU Advisory Committee on Safety and Health.

Martin is a chartered fellow (CFIOSH) and Honorary Vice President of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and is a Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors, C.Dir FIoD.  He is also a trained executive coach.

He has held senior positions with Telecom Eireann, Eircom and Vodafone.  He has worked as an occupational health and safety professional in industry.  He has served as external examiner for Occupational Safety and Health programmes in Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, University College Cork and the Institute of Technology Sligo.  He is Chairman of the board of directors of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) since 2016.  Martin has also served as Chairman of the Board of the Association of Chief Executives of State Agencies (ACESA) for three years.

Linda Gill Ryan is a qualified and experienced health and safety professional with a true passion for her chosen career.  Linda has worked in the area of health and safety for over 15 years and truly believes her time working as an on the ground employee has enhanced her ability to relate with employees at all levels within the workplace environment.  Linda is also a qualified and experienced trainer and instructor facilitating learning in areas such as workplace health and safety, fire safety, Driver CPC, first aid, manual handling and safety representative training.  Linda sits on the committees of many national and voluntary groups around the country from a health and safety and Pre-Hospital perspective.
