The 2010 Conference Programme

For a short time the papers that were delivered at FM Ireland in 2010 will be available for download. All the paper that are available can be accessed by clicking on "Download Paper" within the confernce programme below. Conference paper are in PDF format.

Facilities management is, ultimately, about providing a safe, effective working environment for people. Always has been. The difference today is the resources we're given to do it. As organisations seek to cut costs, trim budgets, increase efficiency and free up capital, the challenges and tough choices facing FM professionals keep on growing.

Rather than buy new, we're encouraged to 'refit, maintain and improve'. We're taking on additional roles, as traditional demarcations become fuzzy and more services are outsourced. And it's all against a background of shrinking budgets, and new and complex legislation on building standards, energy use and carbon emissions.

Conference Overview

The Conference, which is FREE to attend, offers a complete, authoritative source of information and advice, whatever your level and role. The conference programme covers crucial practical topics including:

• Security
• Energy Saving

• Sustainability and Environmental Issues
