Select Access Safety Systems

Members of the Select Access Safety Systems team attended Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) revalidation and training with Mark Wright Training in Rotherham at the end of November.

Our Director, Graham Akroyd, revalidated at IRATA Level 3 (6th assessment successfully completed in succession).

Revalidation required at all levels every three years.

Ross Cardiff, Select Access Technical Director, successfully completed his IRATA Level 1.

Select Access has scheduled further engineers for training in the coming months to ensure that our ability to self-deliver rope access services includes all skill sets are at our disposal in the Rope Access Team.

Training in full flow

By training through the IRATA system we insure that our team has the highest standard of training and demonstrate the required knowledge and skill set to operate in the rope access field.

This allows us to offer unique understanding in the installation and usage of rope access systems for our clients.

In addition, by having team members with the appropriate training and equipment, allows Select Access to offer additional services to clients including mechanical and façade maintenance, inspection (visual/photographic/video) and system testing and inspection.

All Select Access works will be carried out under the IRATA International Code of Practice and the HSE Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Applications) Regulations 2007.

Honestly its isn’t that cold!
